The base payout formula
For a winning base number, the calculation is straightforward:
The official game page describes a minimum wager of JMD $10 and a maximum base wager of JMD $500. The calculator on Cash Pot Today accepts common $10 increments and shows the estimate immediately.
Cash Pot payout examples
| Base stake | Winning base payout | Multiplier |
|---|---|---|
| $10 | $280 | 28x |
| $20 | $560 | 28x |
| $50 | $1,400 | 28x |
| $100 | $2,800 | 28x |
| $200 | $5,600 | 28x |
| $500 | $14,000 | 28x |
Why bonus-ball stakes are separate
A person can place one amount on the base Cash Pot number and different eligible amounts on Mega Ball and Monsta Ball. That means a ticket with a $100 base stake, $50 Mega stake, and $20 Monsta stake costs $170, not $100.
The bonus payout is calculated from the amount wagered on that bonus, not automatically from the full base stake. Monsta Ball also requires a Mega Ball wager, and the Monsta stake cannot exceed the Mega stake.
Use the calculator without mixing up cost and payout
Open the Cash Pot payout calculator, enter the base stake, and choose the ball result shown on the ticket. Read the total cost first, then the potential payout. A larger payout does not mean the additional bet was free.
For an actual ticket, the retailer's validation and official game rules control the amount payable. The calculator is a checking and education tool.
Common payout mistakes
- Applying the 28x multiplier to the entire ticket cost instead of the base wager.
- Adding Mega or Monsta winnings when those bets were not purchased.
- Using an outdated $260 base figure instead of the current $280 figure.
- Assuming every red or gold ball changes a ticket that only contains a base bet.
